About your therapist
Hello, my name is …. Julie Roberts
I am a fully qualified hypnotherapist and I am a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy, one of the major professional bodies for hypnotherapy in the UK and adhere to the strict codes of conduct and ethics of this organisation.
With 37 years of experience in the NHS, I bring a unique blend of clinical expertise and compassionate care to my practice. My journey within the healthcare system has equipped me with a deep understanding of the complexities of human psychological and behaviour, which I now apply to help individuals overcome various challenges through hypnotherapy.
What is Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a form of therapy that utilises hypnosis to help individuals achieve specific goals or address various issues. A trained hypnotherapist guides the individual into a state of deep relaxation and heightened suggestibility, allowing them to access their subconscious mind and work towards desired changes or resolutions.
What is Neurolinguistic Therapy (NLP) and Coaching
NLP techniques are used to help individuals understand and change their thought patterns and behaviours to achieve specific goals or overcome obstacles. NLP has often been called an ‘instruction manual for the brain’, and the techniques can be very empowering. NLP is one of the core techniques used in coaching as well as hypnotherapy
Coaching is a form of development in which an experienced person, the coach, supports a client in achieving a specific personal or professional goal by providing training and guidance.
